Cookie Plate Assembly and Board Meeting - 12/7/08 |
 That time of year when we get together to honor all the wonderful vets who donate their services to CGA is just around the corner! We will be having our annual vet cookie plate assembly day on December 7th at The Farm Bureau Insurance. We are going to start at 12:30 and put together the cookie plates, and then go right into our board meeting (although we will try to keep that part short). We will have some snacks and hot cider, and the CGA Store will be there with some very special holiday gifts for your greyhounds and your greyhound loving friends and family!
When: Sunday, December 7th @ 12:30pm

2009 Greyt Cheesecake Calendars |
 Greyt news! The calendar is almost ready to go to the printer and it is really going to be beautiful! See the sample page posted on the CGA store. Pre-sales are now being accepted and you can pay at the CGA store. Calendars will be sent out as soon as we receive them, which should be mid-October.
In addition, we will also be accepting order for ads on the CGA store. The ads will measure approximately 2 1/2 inches x 1 inch. We must receive your payment for the ads no later than September 26 for inclusion in this year's calendar. The ads are $50.00 each. What a bargain! If you would like to include a logo, please be sure that it is a minimum of 300 dpi. |

CGA Looks Back on the Summer |
As the summer comes to an end, it's a good time to reflect on everything that has happened in the last few months, to update all of you, to look forward to what's coming up, and to let you know where we still need help.
Well, it has been in interesting summer! We have experienced events that we would never have dreamed of, and as always, the group stood up and took it on! |

Greyt T-Shirt Design Contest: The Results |
 After validating all of the votes, here are the final standings. The winners are Bran Stimson and Christina Sievers.
Thank you to everyone for submitting their designs. These were all really great and I hope that we can use more of them in future t-shirts. It was so hard to decide which one to vote for! If anyone doesn't want us to keep and use their design in the future, please let Jody know! If we use your design in a later t-shirt, you will of course, get a free t-shirt when they are printed.

Online Stores Benefit CGA in August |
Colorado Greyhound Adoption has been chosen as the current group to benefit from sales at the following online stores: - Carpe Canem will be donating a portion of all store purchases to CGA. (Carpe Canem is also doing a benefit auction for CGA in November!)
- Handmade 4 Hounds, an Etsy Street Team group, is donating 100% of their August sales to CGA.
In other news, the eBay Auctions hosted by Greyhound Greetings helped raise $510.72! Thanks to Sue Bero from Greyhound Greetings and all of the high bidders for helping our cause! |

CGA Greyt T-Shirt Contest: Time to Vote |

Earlier this month, CGA announced the Greyt T-Shirt Contest. Members were asked to submit their designs for a new t-shirt. The winning design will then be turned into the next CGA Exclusive shirt, available to everyone on the CGA Online Store!
